Recently listed for sale in Texas on auction website bringatrailer(dot)com by seller "diablo321" The seller has described the car as follows: """""Chassis: 6U900JZA800002465 79k Kilometers (~49k Miles) Shown Twin-Turbo 3.0L Inline-Six 4-Speed Automatic Transmission Limited-Slip Differential JDM Model Imported to US in December 2018 Silver over Black/White Leather 18" Koya Wheels XYZ Coilovers Recent Fluid Changes Private Party or Dealer: Dealer Additional Charges From This Dealer: USD $50 Document Fee""""" They have uploaded a number of photos from their dealership where the car is located in Texas called Shinku Classics. They have taken a photo of the engine bay showing that the car has Australian compliance tags, meaning the car went from Japan to Australia (where it was probably run into the ground judging by the dash warp and steering wheel wear) and then exported to USA. Unfortunately for them, they revealed accidentally via photos of the engine bay, on the cam cover the original sticker showing date and mileage of when the timing belt was changed in Japan. It shows year 1999 and 94,XXXkm meaning that the car cannot possibly have 79,XXXkms in 2019... if you judge the dash warp and interior wear and put 2+2 together, it's pretty obvious someone has wound back the mileage. The main photo above is taken from a storage yard in Australia, often that same storage yard is seen with other Supras background sometimes on other cars listed for sale by Shinku Classics on their website. Presumably exporter of these cars in Australia owned this car before being exported to USA. Who wound back the mileage remains a mystery....what a great community to be in with people who do this stuff. *rolls eyes*
