Listed for sale in Bendigo, VIC, Australia in January 2021 by Rob. Ad reads “ Up for sale is my factory manual JZA80 Toyota Supra SZ. VIN No. - 6U900JZA800027982 Frame No. - JZA80-0027982 Paint & Trim Codes - 040 & FC20 Engine: 2JZ-GE (2JZ0374204) Transmission: Factory W58, now R154 Build Date - May 1995 ODO - 245,447km’s I am the third Australian owner; It arrived at our sunny shores in 2004. The previous owner purchased it in 2007 with approximately 130,000km’s & drove it daily, which definitely added a few km’s to the Odometer. I purchased it in 2019 @ 243,693km’s & have driven it on only a handful of occasions around Bendigo, as well as a couple of return trips to/from Melbourne, since. Body presents well, overall. Front bumper would, however, benefit from a respray. Rust is starting to nibble at the base of the rear window, as pictured. Interior also presents well, overall. Whilst rather incomplete when I purchased the Supra, it’s quite the opposite, now. Has genuine Bride seats & rails. Also has genuine optional floor mats & the original 3-Spoke steering wheel, which is unfortunately a little worn. Have fitted an OEM head unit, though there are still no speakers in the car. Rear seat is one of the better ones I’ve ever seen, though it does have its imperfections, as pictured. The dash fascia panels (either side of the steering wheel) have both had 1/2”-wide holes drilled in them for aftermarket switches; which have since been removed. Not my idea, certainly wouldn’t have done that, personally... In my time of ownership, I have given it an oil change (Penrite HPR 10), a set of new spark plugs (NGK BKR6E’s) and had the weak & noisy W58 replaced with an R154 from a factory manual JZZ30 Soarer. It has a less-than-2000km-old Xtreme Performance Clutch & flywheel. I have fitted a few new genuine parts such as climate control buttons, Series 2 tail light inserts, clear side indicators, the front bumper plate retainer, both front seatbelts, front & rear badges and the right window regulator. There are quite a few more genuine new parts that’ve not yet been fitted, including all the seals needed for the hatch (once rust is taken care of), engine mounts, a leather R154 shift knob, engine covers, interior parts, etc. Also still have a couple of parts from Pro Spec Imports; “Pro Spec AM” front lip & handbrake/shifter leather boots. Happy to provide a comprehensive list of the NOS parts to prospective buyers. The Supra did have a set of BBS wheels with Pirelli’s on it, but they are now (back) on my JZS171 Crown. The Enkei’s, whilst not the prettiest wheel, at least do their job & save the prospective buyer from BYO’ing a set of wheels. The tyre tread on them is okay, though they may* need to be replaced for a RWC, if you have no intentions of putting other wheels on it. *I’m not a RWC inspector, it’s not my call. I purchased it with the sole goal of swapping the NA engine out for a 2JZ-GTE. And whilst I got pretty far into sourcing everything for that route, I have decided to try going down a different path in life; one which involves having quite a few less possessions. And so, the toys have to go. Has current Victorian Registration until the 30th of April. Please note that I will not be providing a current RWC. It’s travelled a mere 1,469km’s since it passed an inspection in January, last year. Tyres aside, I can’t see much, if anything, needing to be done for it to pass again. Located in Bendigo, Victoria. Asking $25,000, non-negotiable. Offers will not be entertained. The only swap that I’m interested in is a swap for $25k into my bank account. I aim to be as transparent as possible with my ads. However, if you have any questions that I haven’t been able to answer above, fire away! Lastly, If the ad is still active, then yes, the Supra is still available. :)”
