I purchased the Supra from an importer who brought the vehicle into the United States in November 2023. Prior to its importation, the vehicle passed through auction in Japan with a 4.0 auction grade and just over 38,000 verified kilometers, providing a strong indication of its overall condition and relatively low mileage. When I purchased it, the car had numerous period-correct cosmetic and performance modifications while still retaining a largely OEM drivetrain. The engine remained mostly stock, with the exception of a Blitz front-mount intercooler, Blitz blow-off valve, HKS intake, Greddy boost controller, and Amuse Titanium cat-back exhaust. For the suspension, the car came equipped with Cusco coilovers, which I removed and replaced with a new set of HKS Hipermax coilovers. The original 18-inch staggered Veilside Andrews wheels were also replaced with a new set of 19-inch staggered Work Meister 3-piece wheels. I also removed several of the more aggressive modifications in favor of a cleaner, more refined OEM+ appearance. These included the Cusco bolt-in roll bar, Bride carbon-fiber driver's seat, and the highly recognizable Veilside Combat body kit. The goal with the car was to preserve its original character and period-correct appeal while giving it a more sophisticated OEM+ look. I wanted the car to retain the personality and history that make an RZ Supra special, while refining the overall presentation and bringing the build closer to what I personally envisioned for the car.
